Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has said that Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji was a great saint. He gave the message of Manke-Manke Ek Saman. Today, his message is connecting humans with each other. Shri Sai was addressing the three-day Guru Ghasidas Jayanti celebration organized by Satnami Kalyan Samiti Korba today. On this occasion, he inaugurated the community hall at a cost of about 90 lakh rupees and announced the allotment of land to the Satnami community at a concessional rate.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while congratulating and wishing everyone on Guru Parv, said that our government, with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas and with the cooperation of all of us, will make Chhattisgarh a developed Chhattisgarh. He asked the society to move ahead in the field of education, stay united and move forward on the path of development for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Tokhan Sahu, President of the society Shri UR Mahilange and other officials of the society were also present.

      Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is my good fortune that today I am getting the holy opportunity to participate in various programs on the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Ghasi Das. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi moves forward taking everyone along. His slogan is “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas” which has also been adopted by the Government of Chhattisgarh and everyone is working in this direction to take the society forward.

The Chief Minister said that the work of developing Baba Guru Ghasidas’s Tapobhoomi Girodpuri and other places was done during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. He said that all the promises made in one year tenure have been fulfilled. Construction of PM houses, paddy purchase at Rs 3100, 21 quintals of paddy per acre, remuneration of Rs 5500 per standard sack of Tendu leaves, Rs 1000 every month in the accounts of 70 lakh women and irregularities in PSC are being investigated and action is being taken against the culprits.

While giving information about the tribal hostel for the preparation of UPSC examination in Delhi, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the society has to move forward in the field of education. Our new education policy, industry policy is beneficial for the poor, youth, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Agniveers, Divyangjan. The society should also move forward in the field of enterprise and take advantage of the schemes of the government.

 Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel called upon the social friends to adopt the messages of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji. He appealed to the society to move forward in the field of education and move forward towards industry by taking advantage of the government schemes. Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Devangan congratulated everyone on Guru Parv and said that the state is being developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. Funds have also been released for the construction of domes here. A grand dome will be seen in the coming days.

In the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Sai and other guests participated in the flag hoisting by performing Aarti and Jaitkham Puja. The officials of Satnami Samaj warmly welcomed Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai by garlanding him and felicitating him by putting a silver crown on him. Rose flowers along with the oil painting of Baba Guru Ghasidas were presented. Chief Minister Shri Sai also released the book “Maa Ki Chahat” by Salik Nirmal Diwakar.
