CM Dr. Yadav reviews the preparations of Ken-Betwa Link Project in Khajuraho

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for the upcoming Bhoomi Pujan of the Ken-Betwa Link Project by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled for December 25, 2024, in Khajuraho. During the inspection, Dr. Yadav visited the program venue at the Khajuraho Mela Ground to assess the arrangements. In the review meeting, detailed discussions were held on various aspects, including food services, bus arrangements, drinking water facilities, the number of beneficiaries, and plans to involve people from nearby districts. Khajuraho MP Shri V.D. Sharma, Minister of State for Forest and Environment Shri Dilip Ahirwar, along with other public representatives and administrative officers, were present at the meeting to ensure seamless preparations for the event.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav instructed that Sankalp Patras be distributed to engage the general public with the Jal Abhiyan. Following the SPG meeting, he emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts for the event’s success. He also directed that cultural programs should prominently feature the rich local heritage and traditions of Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the event venue at Khajuraho Mela Ground, reviewed the arrangements, and issued necessary directives to ensure smooth execution.Dr. Yadav remarked that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is poised to create a new chapter in world history. On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Modi will fulfill Vajpayee’s vision of making the entire Bundelkhand region drought-free. The Ken-Betwa Link Project will provide irrigation benefits to over eight and a half lakh hectares of land and ensure access to drinking water for lakhs of people, marking a transformative milestone for the region.
