Chief Minister’s Delhi Visit – Inspection of Bikaner House, Udaipur House, and Reconstructed Rajasthan House
Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma inspected Bikaner House, Udaipur House, and the reconstructed Rajasthan House located in Delhi on Thursday.
While inspecting the reconstruction works of Rajasthan House situated on Prithviraj Road, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to expedite the work and ensure its timely completion. Shri Sharma emphasized that, along with adhering to the timeline, special attention must also be paid to the quality of construction.
During the inspection, officials briefed the Chief Minister about the progress of the Rajasthan House project, which is being built at a cost of ₹136 crore. They explained that the new Rajasthan House, reconstructed over an area of 7,050 square meters, is a government guest house of the Rajasthan Government. The reconstruction integrates the artistic architectural style of Rajasthan in a beautiful manner. Additionally, the exterior walls of the building will feature Dholpur sandstone cladding.
The new Rajasthan House will include two basements, a ground floor, and six additional floors. The basements will provide parking facilities, while the main building will have a lobby, cafeteria, waiting area, dining area, fountain, hanging chandeliers, and an atrium. The first floor will house a conference hall, library, and gym, while the rooftop will feature a terrace garden, party hall, and yoga room.
Chief Minister Inspects Udaipur House
Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma also inspected Udaipur House, located on Rajpur Road near the prestigious North Campus of Delhi University. During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the upcoming construction plans and discussed the details with the officials present.
Inspection of Bikaner House
On Thursday, the Chief Minister visited Bikaner House and inspected the government offices situated there. During the inspection, he instructed the officials to develop Bikaner House into a cultural center.
Several officials and employees of the Rajasthan Government were present during this occasion.
