Supplementary Demands for the Urban Development and Public Health Departments for 2024-25 Approved in the Assembly

Written Responses to Issues Raised on Supplementary Demands Will Be Provided – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

Mumbai : The supplementary demands of ₹3,462.17 crore for the Urban Development and Public Health Departments for the year 2024-2025 were approved in the Assembly. This includes ₹2,774.43 crore for the Urban Development Department and ₹687.74 crore for the Public Health Department.

While responding to the discussion on the supplementary demands, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that 34 members participated in the debate. He also mentioned that written responses to the questions raised by these members would be provided through the concerned ministers.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Pawar said that during the discussion on the supplementary demands, some members raised questions regarding issues under the jurisdiction of municipal corporations and municipal councils. Instructions will be given to the relevant authorities to resolve these issues. Furthermore, all the questions raised by the members from the citizens’ perspective will be addressed.

In addition to this, the supplementary demands for other departments, including General Administration, Home, Revenue and Forest, School Education and Sports, Finance, Water Resources, Law and Justice, Rural Development, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Social Justice and Special Assistance, Planning, Housing, Medical Education and Drugs, Tribal Welfare, Cooperation, Marketing and Textiles, Higher and Technical Education, Women and Child Development, Water Supply and Sanitation, Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Other Backward Classes and Bahujan Welfare, Soil and Water Conservation, and Welfare of the Differently Abled, were also approved in the Assembly.
