SPECIAL TRAINS FOR MAHA KUMBH

Vide a press release the Eastern Railways have brought it to the notice of the devotees, aspiring to visit the Maha Kumbh to be held at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh from 13^th. January, 2025 to 26^th. February, 2025, that 42 (Forty Two) pairs of Special Trains would be put into services, which would generate more than 77500 number of berths.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, once in every 12 years celestial event, holds immense spiritual and cultural significance for millions of devotees from across the globe. Recognized as the largest human congregation on Earth, the Maha Kumbh is a celebration of faith, devotion, and tradition. To ensure seamless travel and accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims attending this grand spiritual gathering, Eastern Railway is delighted to announce the operation of 42 pairs of Kumbh Mela Special trains which will run between Howrah & Tundla; Howrah & Bhind; and between Malda Town & Prayagraj Rambag. This initiative will generate more than 77,500 berths, providing safe, comfortable, and convenient travel options for devotees embarking on their sacred journey.

• 03409 Malda Town – Prayagraj Rambag Kumbha Mela Special will leave Malda Town at 20:45 hours on every Thursday & Saturday between 02.01.2025 to 22.02.2025 (11 trips) to reach Prayagraj Rambag at 17:15 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahebganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultan Ganj, Jamalpur & Abhaipur stations.

• 03410 Prayagraj Rambag – Malda Town Kumbha Mela Special will leave Prayagraj Rambag at 19:15 hrs. on every Friday & Sunday between 03.01.2025 to 23.02.2025 (11 trips) to reach Malda Town at 14:30 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Abhaipur, Jamalpur, Sultan Ganj, Bhagalpur, Kahalgaon, Sahebganj, Barharwa, and New Farakka stations. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03021 Howrah – Tundla Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 19:35 hours on 01/01, 02/01, 03/01, 04/01, 05/01, 06/01, 07/01, 08/01, 16/01, 20/01, 24/01/2025, 05/02, 07/02, 14/02, 21/02 & 26/02/2025 (16 trips) to reach Tundla at 19:20 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

• 03022 Tundla – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Tundla at 11:20 hours on 03/01, 04/01, 05/01, 06/01, 07/01, 08/01, 09/01, 10/01, 18/01, 22/01, 26/01/2025, 07/02, 09/02, 16/02, 23/02 & 28/02/2025 (16 trips) to reach Howrah at 15:20 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Asansol, Durgapur & Barddhaman stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03023 Howrah – Tundla Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 00:30 hours. on 20/01, 22/01, 23/01/2025, 16/02, 17/02, 18/02, & 20/02/2025 (07 trips) to reach Tundla at 02:30 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

• 03024 Tundla – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Tundla at 11:20 hrs. 21/01, 23/01, 24/01/2025, 17/02, 18/02, 19/02, 21/02/2025 (07 trips) to reach Howrah at 15:20 hours on the next day.  The train will stop at Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman & Bandel over Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03025 Howrah – Tundla Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 05:45 hours on 28.02.2025 (01 trip) to reach Tundla at 06:30 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

• 03026 Tundla – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Tundla at 11:20 hours on 01.03.2025 (01 trip) to reach Howrah at 15:20 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman & Bandel over Eastern Railway jurisdiction The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03029 Howrah – Tundla Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 19:35 hours on 23.01.2025, 06.02.2025 & 20.02.2025 (03 trips) to reach Tundla at 20:15 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
• 03030 Tundla – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Tundla at 03:00 hours on 25.01.2025, 08.02.2025 & 22.02.2025 (03 trips) to reach Howrah at 03:30 hours on the next day. The trail will stop at Asansol, Durgapur & Barddhaman stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03031 Howrah – Bhind Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 00:30 hours on 01.01.2025, 18.01.2025 & 19.02.2025 (03 trips) to reach Bhind at 01:05 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

• 03032 Bhind – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Bhind at 03:30 hours on 02.01.2025, 19.01.2025 & 20.02.2025 (03 trips) to reach Howrah at 03:30 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman & Bandel stations over the Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.

• 03033 Howrah – Bhind Kumbha Mela Special will leave Howrah at 00:30 hours on 26.01.2025 (01 trip) to reach Bhind at 01:05 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur & Asansol stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

• 03034 Bhind – Howrah Kumbha Mela Special will leave Bhind at 03:30 hours on 27.01.2025 (01 trip) to reach Howrah at 03:30 hours on the next day. The train will stop at Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman & Bandel stations over the Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned accommodations.
