Raipur: On the occasion of Good Governance Day, ‘Khushhal Ek Saal’ event was successfully organized at Nalanda Campus

On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of the country, Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the youth of the capital recited selected poems from his poetry collection, remembered his incomparable contribution in the establishment of Chhattisgarh state and also expressed their views on his speech given for the first time in Hindi at the United Nations.

This was the occasion of Good Governance Day being celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Nalanda campus in the capital Raipur. The Public Relations Department organized the ‘Khushhaal Ek Saal’ event at the Nalanda campus, in which the youth preparing for various competitive examinations at the Nalanda campus not only came across the life journey, poetry collection and thoughts of the former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but also became aware of the achievements and schemes of the state government of the last one year under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in Chhattisgarh. The youth got an opportunity to know a lot about their state through entertainment and sports. The youth who hesitated to express their views in front of everyone also stopped being hesitant in the light-hearted atmosphere and happily participated in various activities.

The youth showed readiness to answer correctly the questions asked about Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana, Chief Minister Foodgrain Assistance Scheme, Krishak Unnati Yojana, tourism, Chhattisgarh dialects, jewellery etc. operating in the state. Questions related to minerals found in Chhattisgarh, folk art of the state, food, glorious history were also asked in between various activities and during this, the youth who gave the correct answers were given various discount coupons, Bihan products as gifts. The discount voucher of 50 percent discount in the monthly fee of the library located in the Nalanda campus also attracted the aspirants of competitive examinations. This increased their enthusiasm further and they participated in the event with full enthusiasm till the end of the event. It is worth mentioning that this was the sixth event of Khushal Ek Saal event. Even before this, the event was organized at various places in Raipur city in which the youth participated with great interest and enthusiasm in making the event successful.
