Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Pingua arrived on a visit to Bilaspur
Additional Chief Secretary Home and Jail and Secretary in charge of the district Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua visited Bilaspur district today and reviewed the status of implementation of government schemes and programs. Mr. Pingua asked to take full care of the facilities of the farmers during paddy procurement. He instructed to complete the works sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the time limit. He appreciated the sewing work of women at Nari Shakti Garment Factory in Ganiyari. On this occasion, he encouraged the sisters by purchasing jackets prepared by them. He also inspected Sakri police station. During the inspection, Collector Mr. Collector Avnish Sharan, SP Rajnesh Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Amit Kumar, CEO District Panchayat Mr. Sandeep Agarwal and other officials were present.
Secretary-in-charge Mr. Pingua first reached Hirri paddy procurement site in Bilha block and met the farmers and reviewed the arrangements there. He gave instructions to speed up paddy lifting. The Secretary-in-charge instructed the officials to take full care of the convenience of the farmers. The collector informed that so far 3.65 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased from more than 78 thousand farmers in the district. 36 percent of the total paddy purchased has been lifted.
Secretary-in-charge Mr. Manoj Pingua inspected the works of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Ganiyari of Takhatpur block during the inspection. Mrs. Mantora Kaushik told that the amount of two installments has been released to her. Mrs. Kaushik expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai for this. Secretary-in-charge directed to complete the work of housing construction soon.
The Secretary-in-Charge inspected the Nari Shakti garment factory in Ganiyari. Here 100 sisters of Nari Shakti group are doing sewing work. The Secretary-in-Charge and the Collector encouraged the sisters by purchasing jackets prepared by them. The sisters told that they are continuously getting orders for clothes. Everybody is earning 8 to 10 thousand rupees per month. The Secretary-in-Charge inspected the Sakri police station and also saw the Crime and Criminal Tracking System.
