The Echo of Diverse Musical Instruments Resonates at Bikaner House’s Sunday Market

Jaipur : The Sunday Market held every week at Bikaner House, New Delhi, mesmerized visitors this Sunday with the echo of diverse musical instruments. In the crisp winter weather of Delhi, hundreds of tourists and visitors gathered at the Sunday Market to enjoy a variety of entertaining programs.

Officials from the Office of the Residential Commissioner stated that Bikaner House was adorned according to a New Year theme to attract people of all age groups to this weekly Sunday Market. A special tabla performance was organized by percussionists from the renowned Delhi Drum Circle, as a tribute to the legendary tabla maestro, Late Zakir Hussain. The musical presentation also included a group of percussionists accompanied by a saxophonist.

The officials added that, being the last Sunday of the year, the weekly market witnessed a large crowd from various walks of life. Considering the cold weather, an array of food items was arranged, which were greatly appreciated by all attendees.

Additionally, they shared that the market featured stalls offering organic products, bags, woolen clothing, sustainable fashion, artisan chocolates, antiques, and other items. Visitors showed immense enthusiasm and excitement for the vibrant market offerings.

They also noted that the steadily increasing number of tourists and visitors since the market’s inception on November 10 is a testament to its growing popularity.
