Honorable Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin Launches “Minmathi 2.0” and Unveils Revamped Magazine

Chennai : Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin today inaugurated the “Minmathi 2.0” e-learning platform and unveiled the newly designed Mutham monthly magazine at the Finance Department.

The Minmathi 2.0 platform has been meticulously developed under the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Women Development (TNCDW) to enhance the management and financial skills of women self-help group (SHG) members. The platform provides training on management, financial literacy, income generation, livelihood programs, community initiatives, and government schemes, ensuring SHG members can access valuable information and resources easily.

Launched as part of Tamil Nadu’s efforts to empower women economically and socially, the platform will also train community trainers, offering e-certificates upon completion. This initiative aligns with the Dravidian model of inclusive development, which has significantly advanced SHG growth in Tamil Nadu under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Chief Minister.

Additionally, Mutham, the monthly magazine first launched in 1998, has been redesigned with modern aesthetics and enriched content to appeal to a broader audience. Initially published with 10,000 copies, the magazine now boasts over 100,000 subscribers, aiming to inform and inspire readers across various sectors.

Dignitaries attending the event included Additional Chief Secretary for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Mr. Kandeep Singh Bedi, TNCDW Managing Director, Mrs. S. Divyadarshini, and Mutham magazine’s special consultant, Mr. Aiyan Karthikeyan.
