ADG, DIG, and SSP take charge to ensure robust security arrangements at Mahakumbh

Mahakumbh Nagar : On the first day of Mahakumbh, Paush Purnima Snan Parv witnessed impeccable security arrangements. Over 50,000 security personnel maintained strict vigilance across the fair area. Senior officials, including ADG Bhanu Bhaskar, DIG Mahakumbh Vaibhav Krishna, and SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi, oversaw security measures by actively engaging at ground level.

The Yogi government has left no stone unturned in ensuring the safety of devotees during Mahakumbh, a commitment evident from the start. Policemen diligently performed their duties throughout the fairgrounds while senior officials monitored every detail. ADG Bhanu Bhaskar conducted extensive inspections, interacting with devotees to address concerns. He even ascended the Watchtower at Sangam Nose to survey the security arrangements from an elevated perspective.

DIG Mahakumbh Vaibhav Krishna and SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi patrolled on horses extensively, ensuring tight security in every corner.

SSP Dwivedi even entered the Ganga at Sangam Nose to assess safety protocols firsthand.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed all officials to prioritize devotees’ safety and well-being, a directive resonating with the proactive measures witnessed on the first day, making it a seamless and memorable experience for all attendees.

Fair Officer Vijay Kiran Anand also showcased unwavering dedication. He led a battalion and personally visited Sangam Nose to review arrangements and issued clear instructions to sector magistrates to ensure comprehensive facilities at all ghats in their respective sectors. He encouraged the fair team to maintain their commitment for the entire 45-day event, emphasizing that no devotee should face any inconvenience at any stage.
