“Azamgarh’s development is making SP’s ‘Shehzade’ feel uneasy”, says PM Modi.

Lok Sabha 24 :Azamgarh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Cleanliness Drive in Uttar Pradesh, which also included, cleansing the state of ‘mafia, rioters, and extortionists’. Addressing a gathering at an election rally in Lalganj on Thursday, Modi urged backing for party candidates Neelam Sonkar in Lalganj and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ in Azamgarh.

Challenging Congress and SP, PM Modi said, “No matter where they gather strength, whether domestically, or internationally, I am also in the field, just as they are.” He highlighted the BJP’s reverence for the Yaduvansh and referenced Mohan Yadav’s appointment as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Criticizing the SP’s association with terrorism, Modi underscored the shared agenda of falsehoods, appeasement,

nepotism, and corruption between Congress and SP.

During his speech, PM Modi reflected on the jubilant atmosphere surrounding the recent nomination in Kashi, noting that this sense of excitement and celebration extends far beyond Kashi, resonating from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and from Attock to Cuttack.

He underscored the global recognition of India’s robust democracy, observing that, for the first time, international newspapers have prominently featured India’s democratic fervor on their front pages.

Emphasizing the significance of India’s identity and global stature, Modi said, “The world is witnessing widespread support for the BJP, NDA, and their allies, evident in the unified voice echoing across the nation with the resounding chant of ‘Fir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’.”

He praised the overwhelming public endorsement, astonished at the love and trust bestowed upon ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’, a sentiment not lost on the world’s watchful eyes.

PM Modi highlighted the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) as a testament to his unwavering commitment. He said, “The process of granting Indian citizenship to refugees under the CAA commenced yesterday, emphasizing that these individuals, comprising Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians, have long sought refuge in India following religious persecution.”

He added, ” Enduring decades of persecution, often marginalized due to their social status, they found sanctuary in India to safeguard their dignity and religious freedom.”

Modi criticized the Congress for neglecting these vulnerable communities, primarily Dalits and backward classes, dismissing them as inconsequential to their electoral interests. “But we have unmasked them. This is the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee'”, he asserted.

The Prime Minister underscored the manifestation of the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ assurance in Kashmir today. He said, “Over the last five to six decades, Kashmir has been a central theme in election discussions. However, now, our opponents have gone quiet, their voices subdued.” Behind closed doors, they acknowledge Modi’s abolition of Article 370, hinting at the possibility of reinstating it if given the chance. Nevertheless, the spotlight isn’t solely on Modi.”

Addressing the recent voting in Srinagar, PM Modi remarked, “The fourth phase of voting in Srinagar marked a celebration of India’s democracy and Constitution after forty years. The enthusiasm witnessed in Srinagar signals an end to vote-bank politics centered around Article 370.”

PM Modi empathized with the concerns of mothers and sisters from military families in Azamgarh, who previously feared explosions and news from Kashmir. Modi assured peace in Kashmir by dismantling the barrier of Article 370. PM Modi said, “Previously, elections in Kashmir were marred by strikes, and voters faced threats of violence. However, the recent elections in Srinagar shattered records.”

Reflecting on the past, Modi noted how a decade ago, the safety of ordinary citizens depended on divine providence, especially during times of national crises when Azamgarh often drew unwelcome attention due to the SP government’s leniency towards terrorists and rioters, leaving sleeper cells unchecked and mothers mourning their children’s ruin.

Taking a dig at the opposition, PM Modi said, “SP and Congress may be two political parties, but they operate from the same storefront, peddling falsehoods, appeasement, nepotism, and corruption.” He added, “Recently, they’ve intensified their appeasement tactics, seeking to wrest rights from marginalized groups like backward classes, Dalits, and tribals to bolster their voter base. Their agenda includes unjustly redistributing property and budget allocations, perpetuating a ‘divide-and-rule strategy’. For seven decades, they’ve exploited religious sentiments, pitting Hindus against Muslims. We must stand united against such divisive tactics. “

Furthermore, the Prime Minister cautioned against the SP’s mission to denigrate the Ram temple, emphasizing that people’s faith must not be manipulated for political gain.

PM Modi also informed the public of initiatives such as a health insurance scheme for individuals over 70 and the PM Surya Ghar program offering free electricity, encouraging people to enroll online. Noting the benefits, he said that it would reduce electricity bills to zero, while helping people to generate income by selling surplus electricity.

Modi emphasized the rapid development in Uttar Pradesh under BJP governance, citing achievements like the Manduri Airport and Maharaja Suheldev University, alongside ongoing efforts for farmer welfare.

However, he critiqued the opposition’s reluctance to embrace progress, suggesting they fear losing control over their traditional power structures. Referencing the tumultuous past marked by SP’s dominance, Modi reminded the public of the restrictions on daily life and commerce, underlining the importance of voting for continued progress, with a focus on expanding local products to global markets.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state government ministers Surya Pratap Shahi, Dara Singh Chauhan, Om Prakash Rajbhar, MP Sangeeta Azad, BJP state general secretary Govind Narayan Shukla, Legislative Council member Vijay Bahadur Pathak, BJP candidate from Lalganj Neelam Sonkar and Azamgarh.
