Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai Invited to the Tournament with a Special Jersey with his Birthdate

Raipur : The members of the organizing committee of the Legend 90 Cricket League met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office to present a courtesy gift and invite him to the upcoming competition. The Legend 90 Cricket League will be held from February 6 to February 18 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur. On this occasion, Mr. Tarunesh Singh Parihar, CEO of Legend 90, gifted the Chief Minister a special 21-number jersey of the Chhattisgarh Warriors team. It is notable that the Chief Minister’s birthdate is February 21, and with this in mind, the Chhattisgarh Warriors presented him with this special jersey.

This year, the Legend 90 Cricket League is being held for the first time in India. The tournament will take place from February 6 to February 18, 2025 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. This league is an internationally recognized prestigious competition that has previously been held in various countries, including Sri Lanka.

The tournament will feature renowned national and international players such as Chris Gayle, David Warner, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Matthew Wade, Moeen Ali, Aaron Finch, Thisara Perera, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Shaun Marsh, Martin Guptill, Kedar Jadhav, Ben Dunk, Shakib Al Hasan, and Daniel Christian.

During the meeting with the Chief Minister, Mr. Tarunesh Singh Parihar, CEO of Legend 90, provided detailed information about the competition and emphasized the significance of this historic event in Chhattisgarh. Also present at the event were Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Rahul Bhadoria (Director, Sports Mint), Mr. Sadan Ghosh (Director, Yaron), Mr. Gaurav Batra, and Mr. Rajeev Soni.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has appealed to the cricket fans to attend the Legend 90 Cricket League and encourage the players. He emphasized that this international cricket league being held in Raipur will feature renowned cricket players from both India and abroad. The Chief Minister also stated that the Chhattisgarh Government has taken several decisions to enhance the sports infrastructure in the state. These include rewarding Olympic medalists, hosting events like the Bastar Olympics which saw the participation of 165,000 people, and a commitment to further improving cricket-related infrastructure. He assured that the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium would continue to host thrilling cricket matches in the future as well.
