Akhilesh Yadav is frustrated: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak
Lucknow : Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, on Saturday, sharply criticized Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, claiming that he is ‘frustrated’ after suffering major defeats in the recent assembly by-polls. “Out of 10 seats, he lost 8 badly. He is still in shock from that defeat,” Pathak said.
He alleged that Akhilesh Yadav is unable to accept the massive public turnout at Mahakumbh. “The overwhelming faith of the people is not sitting well with him. He is unable to acknowledge the devotion of millions,” he added.
He further accused the SP leader of being against Sanatan Dharma. “In his desperation to oppose the BJP, Akhilesh Yadav has started opposing Sanatan Dharma itself,” he alleged.
Pathak also took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, “His friend Rahul Gandhi is now talking about contesting from an Indian state seat. This shows their political confusion.”
The Deputy CM praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that India is making a strong global presence in various fields, including infrastructure, innovation, and space science.
Taking a dig at the Samajwadi Party, Pathak accused them of “doing politics over dead bodies.” He said, “They are not happy with the grand temple built at Lord Ram’s birthplace or the magnificent Mahakumbh celebrations.”
He mentioned that India is rapidly spreading its cultural consciousness on a global scale. “The Mahakumbh is a unique festival of faith and spirituality, where millions are taking a holy dip, rising above caste, class, and wealth to embrace unity. This represents India’s strength in diversity,” he said.
He also pointed out that while the Kumbh Mela has been held before, no government has ever given it this level of attention. He said that the Mahakumbh has become an event that has the entire world looking towards India.
