District Jamboree Showcases Scout Guide Skills

• Various activities, including adventure sports and quizzes, were organized.
• The district-level Scout Guide competition rally will continue until February 18.

Jaipur – Scouts and Guides are showcasing their talents at the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides District Jamboree in Govindpura, Ropada, under the theme “Empowered Youth – Developed India.” On Saturday, various activities such as adventure sports, quizzes, and city tours were conducted.

CO Scout Sharad Sharma informed that the district-level competition included thrilling activities like monkey bridge, commando bridge, monkey crawling, rope climbing, tire tunnel, hydro chloric, ladder crossing, tire wall, balance beam, rope skipping, can knocking, and ring toss.

Rajasthan Chief Commissioner Niranjan Arya inspected the jamboree and interacted with the participants. State Training Commissioner Bannalal attended as the chief guest during the flag hoisting, while Assistant State Organization Commissioner Jaipur Division, Damodar Prasad Sharma, participated as a special guest. Various local troops participated in the march-past competition.

CO Guide Ritu Sharma shared that students were divided into two groups; one group visited Jaipur’s cultural and historical landmarks like Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar. CO Guide Indu Tanwar added that the evening session featured Kabaddi matches at the rally site under Jaipur district’s Panch Gaurav initiative.
