Jaipur – A review meeting was held on Tuesday at the State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Devasthan, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, and Gopalan Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat to assess the arrangements of the Rajasthan Pavilion at Mahakumbh Prayagraj.

The Rajasthan Pavilion has been set up at Mahakumbh to facilitate the state’s pilgrims. Shri Kumawat expressed satisfaction over the successful and safe stay of the Chief Minister, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Cabinet Ministers, and MLAs at the pavilion, as well as the smooth conduct of the Cabinet meeting held there.

Highlighting the large influx of pilgrims from Rajasthan, Shri Kumawat stated that free accommodation and meals are being provided to them through the Devasthan Department at the pavilion. He further informed that the Rajasthan Pavilion has 39 standard rooms, 10 suite rooms, and 2 dormitories, where approximately 3,500 pilgrims have stayed so far. Additionally, 600-700 people stay daily in the hall and dormitories, with clean bedding and blankets available for them. The pavilion also offers free meals every morning and evening, benefiting thousands of devotees. Shri Kumawat emphasized that the Rajasthan Pavilion is gaining popularity at Mahakumbh, attracting a large number of visitors.

To assist Rajasthan’s pilgrims with information regarding Mahakumbh and the Rajasthan Pavilion, a helpline with five new telephone numbers has been set up at the Commissioner’s office in Udaipur. Expressing satisfaction with the current arrangements, Shri Kumawat directed officials to further enhance the facilities to ensure maximum benefit for the devotees.

Notably, the Rajasthan Pavilion also provides 24-hour free medical services to visiting pilgrims. This initiative, launched by the state government and the Chief Minister, has received widespread appreciation for its impact and effectiveness.

The review meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Devasthan Department along with other senior officials.
