Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, and many other prominent leaders take a dip in Triveni Sangam

Mahakumbh Nagar : The world’s largest spiritual gathering, Mahakumbh 2025, is witnessing devotees’ unwavering faith and prominent political leaders’ presence. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, and Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde are among those experiencing the sanctity of the event by taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.

Expressing her joy, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman described the experience as a ‘profound moment’ in the Sanatan tradition. She was welcomed in Prayagraj by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, who extended his greetings on her arrival. Accompanied by her family, she participated in the sacred ritual at the Sangam.

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya highlighted the global significance of Mahakumbh, stating, “Today, I had the privilege of taking a dip in the Sangam along with hundreds of BJYM workers. No event of this scale has ever been organized anywhere in the world. The greatest aspect of Mahakumbh is its spirit of unity, bringing together people from across the country and beyond.”

Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu shared his deep reverence for the occasion, saying, “This tradition has continued for generations. I feel fortunate to have witnessed and participated in Mahakumbh in my lifetime. The energy and positivity here are incredible.”

Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde expressed his gratitude for being part of the once-in-a-lifetime event, remarking, “Mahakumbh comes once in 144 years, and I consider myself lucky to attend. Crores of people are here to take a holy bath, making this a truly magnificent spiritual confluence.”
