Farmers Should Embrace New Technology – Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil
Successful Completion of ATMA Farmer Training Program
Jalgaon : The use of drone technology can help farmers address labor shortages. Farmers should form groups under the ATMA initiative and apply for subsidies while adopting drone-assisted spraying technology. Modern agricultural techniques not only enhance productivity but also help overcome various farming challenges. Therefore, farmers must shift towards advanced technology and utilize modern agricultural tools, urged Water Supply and Sanitation Minister and Jalgaon’s Guardian Minister, Gulabrao Patil. He was speaking at the district-level farmer training program organized under the ATMA (Agricultural Technology Management Agency) at Pimpale Khurd.
The event was attended by ATMA Committee Chairman Pramod Patil, ATMA Jalgaon Project Director Kurbaan Tadvi, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (Amalner) Chandrashekhar Sathe, Agricultural Scientist Dr. Hemant Baheti, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Taluka Agriculture Officer Kiran Desale, Mandal Agriculture Officer Arun Koli, and agricultural assistants from the Taluka Agriculture Office. The program also saw the presence of village Sarpanch Kailas Patil, UMED representative Narayan Mahajan, Kanchan Patil, Sudarshan Patil, Moti Appa, Gopichand Patil, Ravindra Patil, Manoj Patil, Bandu Patil, along with a large number of farmers from the region.
Guardian Minister Honored by Villagers
At the Gram Panchayat office, Minister Gulabrao Patil was felicitated with a shawl, coconut, and a garland of roses by the villagers and the Gram Panchayat. Expressing gratitude, he assured that funding for village development would never fall short and that he would always cherish the villagers’ love and respect. The felicitation ceremony was attended by Sarpanch Sunanda Patil, Deputy Sarpanch Kiran Patil, former Market Committee Chairman Pramod Patil, Branch Head Lalit Patil, Gram Panchayat Member Kailas Patil, Vinod Patil, Jagdish Patil, Mansi Patil, Yashwant Shrivant, Raju More, Samadhan Patil, and others.
Expert Guidance for Farmers
During the training session, ATMA Project Director Kurbaan Tadvi provided guidance on Agri Stack farmer registration. Dr. Hemant Baheti explained pest and disease control measures for Rabi season crops. Vaibhav Suryavanshi educated farmers on the maintenance and repair of various agricultural machinery, while Yash Wagh gave a detailed presentation on the importance and benefits of drone-assisted spraying technology.
The event was conducted by ATMA BTM Deepak Nagpure, who also shared insights on various government agricultural schemes. Taluka Agriculture Officer Kiran Desale delivered the vote of thanks. The program concluded with a live demonstration of drone-based spraying techniques.
A dedicated team, including Agriculture Assistants Vimal Surawar, Gajanan More, Rahul Pawar, Padmakar Patil, Trishikesh Reddy, Akshay Patil, Nitin Patil, Lalit Patil, and Ravindra Patil, played a crucial role in organizing the successful event.
