1-Day Interactive Meeting With Church Youth Fellowship Leaders Of Aizawl City Area
On February 27, 2025 (Tuesday), the Population Education Cell, SCERT, organized an interactive session at the SCERT Auditorium with youth leaders from various churches in Aizawl City to discuss the evolving needs of young people.

The opening session began at 10:00 AM, presided over by Deputy Director Pi Lalnunsiami. Project Coordinator Pi Laldampuii outlined the objectives of the program and highlighted key initiatives under Population Education. SCERT Director Pi Caroline Zoramthangi, who was also present, emphasized that education and youth counseling should not be limited to schools alone, stressing the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and church youth leaders. She pointed out that many young people drop out of formal schooling, making Sunday Schools an effective platform for guiding and mentoring them. She encouraged attendees to engage in discussions and continue efforts to support the youth.
The session also featured inputs from Dr. Chawngdingliana, CEO of Shalom, along with SCERT representatives Pi Zozikpuii and Pi Lalremmawii. Around 38 youth leaders from various churches in Aizawl participated in the program.
