Departments Must Publish 100-Day Action Plan Updates on Websites – CM Devendra Fadnavis
Mumbai : The 100-day action plan initiative has been highly successful in the state, with 411 projects already completed across various departments and 372 more nearing completion. An impressive 85% of the planned projects have been accomplished under this initiative. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed all departments to complete their pending projects by May 1 and ensure that information about the 100-day program is available on their official websites.
A review meeting regarding the 100-day action plan was held at Sahyadri Guest House under the leadership of CM Fadnavis. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, departmental ministers, additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, and other officials.
Extension of the 100-Day Program
CM Fadnavis emphasized that departments have successfully implemented the 100-day action plan with dedication, delivering valuable and prompt services to citizens. Given the positive impact of this initiative, the government has extended the program by 15 days. By May 1, all departments must update their websites with details of the planned and completed projects. If any projects remain unfinished, the reasons for the delay must also be mentioned on the websites.
Departments have been instructed to complete public-oriented projects efficiently, maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines. Additionally, government departments must establish mechanisms to ensure swift action on requests from public representatives. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of promptly resolving technical, administrative, and procedural hurdles to achieve the program’s objectives. Efficient utilization of available funds must be a priority for all departments.
Review of Departmental Progress
During the meeting, the implementation of the 100-day plan across 26 departments was reviewed. Out of the 938 identified projects, 411 (44%) have been fully completed, while 372 (40%) are in the final stages and expected to be finished within the set timeframe. Another 155 projects are in progress. Departments provided updates on ongoing work, and an additional 15-day extension was granted for completion.
Citizen-Centric Governance
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde commended the departments for their rapid execution of projects, which has enhanced public trust in the administration. The 100-day program has led to significant improvements at the district level, with numerous major projects completed within the given timeframe. Additionally, several government services have transitioned online, providing greater convenience to citizens. He praised the efforts of all departments for their commendable work under this initiative.
