Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department Launches ‘Swachh Nagar Samachar’ Monthly Magazine.

Jaipur : Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Local Self Government Department, Mr. Rajesh Yadav, inaugurated the monthly newsletter “Swachh Nagar Samachar” on Wednesday at the Directorate’s auditorium.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Yadav stated that the monthly publication will showcase the ongoing efforts under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), such as household and community composting, waste-to-wealth initiatives, and highlight exemplary work by urban local bodies, self-help groups, and startups. The aim is to inspire citizens and encourage their active participation in the mission.

He further informed that the monthly newsletter will also be available in digital format on the official website of the Urban Development Department.

Present at the event were Mr. Indrajit Singh, Director and Special Secretary of the Urban Development Department; Ms. Shweta Chauhan, Director of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban); Mr. Pradeep Garg, Chief Engineer (SBMU), along with other officials and staff members.
