Necessary Funds Will Be Provided for the Development of Parbhani City – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

Parbhani : Necessary funds will be made available for the development of Parbhani city, stated Deputy Chief Minister and State Finance Minister Ajit Pawar. However, he emphasized that while undertaking essential infrastructure works, meticulous planning must be done to ensure quality execution. He gave these instructions during a review meeting with the Parbhani Municipal Corporation.

Mr. Pawar reviewed various development works under the Parbhani Municipal Corporation at a meeting held in the corporation’s conference hall. The meeting was attended by Guardian Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, Member of Parliament Bandu Jadhav, MLAs Vikram Kale, Rahul Patil, Ratnakar Gutte, Rajesh Vitekar, District Collector Raghunath Gawde, Municipal Commissioner Dhairyashil Jadhav, along with former members and municipal officers/staff.

During the review, Mr. Pawar examined pending government-level proposals related to the municipal corporation, the financial status of the corporation, staffing matters, ongoing development works, roads, parallel water supply systems, underground drainage schemes, the new theatre construction, solid waste management, STP plants, and health facilities.

Mr. Pawar said he has always had a special interest in Parbhani and assured full support to make the city clean and beautiful. The municipal corporation must ensure high-quality basic amenities for citizens. He assured support for the underground drainage project, new theatre construction, parallel water supply scheme, STP plant, solid waste management, and the construction of a new sports complex. The municipal administration must also ensure timely and quality completion of these works.

He advised that road construction should be done in coordination with the Public Works Department, considering future requirements. Mr. Pawar also assured that the staffing issues of municipal employees would be addressed. During the meeting, Mr. Jadhav presented a detailed overview of the development works through a presentation.
