The Glow of Good Governance Festival: CREDA Restores Rural Vibrancy
Solar High-Mast and Pump Repairs Transform Village Landscapes
A Testament to Transparent and Efficient Governance under CM Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur : The ongoing Su-Shasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival) in Chhattisgarh is reviving the spirit and brightness of villages, thanks to swift grievance redressal and efficient service delivery. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, government officials are promptly resolving applications related to public demands, complaints, and issues. This initiative is being observed across the state, including Dhamtari district, with a focus on transparency and effective implementation of welfare schemes.
CREDA (Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency) has received and swiftly addressed multiple applications during the festival. These included two complaints regarding non-functional high-mast lights, two about solar pump repairs, and one concerning the replacement of a faulty gate valve in a dual solar pump system.
For instance, in Dangi-Macha village, Kamleshwar Uike had submitted an application regarding a malfunctioning gate valve of the dual solar pump installed under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Prompt inspection and repairs by CREDA’s field staff restored the pump, ensuring clean drinking water supply to the villagers. Likewise, Panchuram from Kishanpuri had requested repairs for the village’s solar high-mast lighting. The faulty batteries and lights were replaced, restoring night-time illumination.
Similar repairs were carried out in villages like Pachpedhi, Charra, and Giraud in Kurud block, based on requests by villagers Lomash Kumar Sahu, Tilak Ram Dhruv, and Gajendra Kumar Sahu. All applications were resolved without delay, leading villagers to express heartfelt gratitude to CM Vishnu Deo Sai. Many said they never expected such swift action and praised the effectiveness of the Su-Shasan Tihar in delivering timely solutions to grassroots concerns.
