PM Modi Praises Nara Lokesh, Says ‘Shabash, You Are Doing Very Well’

Bhogapuram, Aug 2026 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh for his performance, encouraging him to continue serving the people with the same energy and commitment.

The warm exchange took place following the inauguration of the newly constructed Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district. As Prime Minister Modi was leaving the venue, Lokesh came forward to bid him farewell.

During their brief interaction, Modi patted Lokesh on the shoulder and said, “Shabash Lokesh, you are doing very well.” The Prime Minister also encouraged the young minister to maintain the same pace and spirit in his public service.

The gesture and words of appreciation drew attention, highlighting the growing recognition of Lokesh’s work in Andhra Pradesh’s administration and development initiatives.

This is not the first occasion on which Modi has appreciated Lokesh’s efforts. The Prime Minister has previously praised him for effectively organising his visits to Andhra Pradesh and for his role in the successful ‘Yoga Andhra’ programme.

The latest interaction further underscored the close engagement between the Centre and the Andhra Pradesh leadership on development and governance initiatives.
