Review Meeting Held on Progress of Departmental Schemes of Agriculture Marketing Department
Jaipur : Under the chairmanship of Rajan Vishal, Secretary of Agriculture and Horticulture, a review meeting on the progress of schemes of the Agriculture Marketing Department and Agriculture Marketing Board was held on Thursday in the conference hall of Pant Krishi Bhawan.
While reviewing the departmental schemes, Mr. Rajan Vishal instructed the officers to complete the budget announcements within the stipulated time so that benefits can reach the farmers.
He directed that parking arrangements in the markets (mandis) be properly organized. Complete attention should be given to cleanliness in the mandis, and arrangements for pure drinking water should be made.
Reviewing the Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), he stated that FPOs should work not only in the agriculture sector but also in areas like animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairy.
Reviewing the land allocation and construction works for establishing new mandis, he emphasized that the construction work for the new mandis announced in the budget should be completed on time and given a tangible form as soon as possible.
The meeting was attended by Additional Director of Agriculture Marketing Department Mr. Ravindra Kumar Sharma, Joint Directors Mr. Sanjay Vyas and Mr. T. R. Meena, Deputy Director Mr. Kesar Singh, along with officials from the Agriculture Marketing Department and Marketing Board.
