Virtual Galaxy Infotech Should Contribute to Realizing Digital India – CM Devendra Fadnavis
Company Listed on NSE in the Presence of Chief Minister (Online)
Mumbai : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today urged Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited to play a key role in fulfilling the vision of Digital India.
Speaking during the company’s listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), which was conducted via video conference from the Chief Minister’s official residence, Varsha Bungalow, Fadnavis said the company’s journey is a matter of pride for all of Maharashtra. The event was also attended by the company’s Vice President, Ashutosh Gholap.
CM Fadnavis noted that Virtual Galaxy Infotech was founded in 1997 in Nagpur by Avinash Shende and Sachin Pandey. What began as a small initiative has now grown into a major force in India’s IT sector, he said.
The company currently operates from 16 locations across India and three locations abroad. It has also been allotted 10 acres of land in MIHAN (Multi-modal International Hub Airport at Nagpur), where large-scale industrial development and job creation are expected, the Chief Minister added.
Fadnavis praised the vision and determination of founders Avinash and Sachin, stating that their entrepreneurial journey will serve as a source of inspiration for thousands of budding entrepreneurs across the state to dream big and work boldly.
On this occasion, the company’s information booklet was also unveiled by the Chief Minister.
