CM Reviews Preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Upcoming Visit to Bikaner

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Highlights Continuous Strengthening of Railway Facilities under PM Modi’s Leadership

Jaipur – Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma conducted a high-level review meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday to assess preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Bikaner on May 22. He instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are well-coordinated and efficiently executed.

The Chief Minister emphasized that all concerned departments must fulfill their assigned responsibilities and work in close coordination to ensure the program’s success. He underlined the importance of meticulous planning and execution of all necessary arrangements for the PM’s visit.

Focus on Public Comfort and Security

In view of the rising summer temperatures, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure proper seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and smooth transportation at the event venue so that the public does not face any inconvenience. The Bikaner Collector was specifically instructed to complete all preparations at the airport, helipad, and venue well in time.

CM Sharma also stressed the need for top-tier security measures during the Prime Minister’s visit. He instructed the Home Department to manage visitor security passes and oversee traffic arrangements to ensure order and safety.

Appointment of Nodal Officers

The Chief Minister asked all relevant departments to appoint nodal officers to oversee the smooth execution of their respective duties. He also directed officials to maintain close coordination with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Railways. Key departments such as Public Health Engineering, Tourism, Public Works, Information Technology & Communications, and the Department of Information and Public Relations were issued detailed instructions for their roles in ensuring the success of the PM’s visit.

PM to Launch and Inaugurate Multiple Projects

It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government has prioritized the enhancement of passenger amenities and modernization of railway stations. During the upcoming Bikaner visit, PM Modi will inaugurate the Amrit Bharat Deshnok Railway Station, flag off the Bikaner-Mumbai Express Train, and lay foundation stones and inaugurate several railway projects across the country.

In addition to these official engagements, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit the world-renowned Karni Mata Temple in Bikaner.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant along with senior officials from various departments, while district-level officers joined via video conferencing.
