Jaishankar Visits Denmark, Thanks PM for Support Against Terrorism
Copenhagen: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in Denmark on Tuesday and expressed appreciation for the country’s continued support in combating terrorism. He also thanked Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his visit, Jaishankar held key discussions with Prime Minister Frederiksen, focusing on strengthening the India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership. The meeting underscored both nations’ commitment to expanding cooperation in sustainable development and addressing shared global challenges such as climate change and clean energy.
Taking to social media platform X, Jaishankar wrote, “Thanks to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen for extending me a warm welcome in Copenhagen this evening. Conveyed personal greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thanked Denmark for its solidarity and support in combating terrorism. Appreciate Prime Minister Frederiksen’s guidance in taking forward our Green Strategic Partnership and broadening the scope of our cooperation.”
