School Education Minister Dr. Vanlalthlana Attends Felicitation Programme For Meritorious Students Of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary SchoolBottom of Form

Aizawl : Today, St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, held a felicitation programme—“Paulians’ Proficiency Award 2025”—in honour of students who excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations, 2025. The event took place at the school auditorium and was graced by Dr. Vanlalthlana, Minister of School Education, as the chief guest. Ms. Angela Zothanpuii, Director of School Education, also attended as a special guest.

In his address, Dr. Vanlalthlana congratulated the meritorious students and expressed pride in being an alumnus of the institution. He emphasized that the school continues to be a vital platform for nurturing knowledge and excellence. The Minister commended the students for their determination and consistent hard work, acknowledging that such dedication plays a crucial role in achieving academic success.

He encouraged the students to maintain their commitment to excellence and become role models for others, urging them to pursue not just academic success but also personal integrity, discipline, and perseverance. Dr. Vanlalthlana also reminded them that academic achievement must be accompanied by social responsibility and service to the community and the nation.

Highlighting the importance of hard work and innovation, the Minister shared the inspirational story of James Dyson, who succeeded after 5,127 failed attempts, ultimately earning knighthood for his groundbreaking contributions. He stressed that this kind of unwavering perseverance is essential for meaningful achievement.

Dr. Vanlalthlana further highlighted the importance of diverse skills, adaptability, and resilience in today’s fast-changing world, and he encouraged the students to use their knowledge to benefit society.

In his speech, Bro. Kuriyan M.S., Principal of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, thanked all participants and congratulated the students. He noted that the hard work and success of the meritorious students serve as an inspiration to others. Dr. Franklin Lalrinngheta, President of the Paulians’ Alumni Association (PAA), also addressed the gathering, along with Cynthia Lalhlupuii Shangpliang, the Class 12 Science Stream Topper.
