He stressed focusing on medium-term milestones to accomplish long-term goals and called for the inclusion of public suggestions, highlighting that the role of 8 crore citizens is vital in building a developed Rajasthan.
Rural Development as the Backbone of National Growth
The CM reiterated that rural development is central to both state and national progress. Without uplifting villages, the dream of a developed India cannot be realized. He directed efforts to make gram panchayats self-reliant by increasing their income sources, promoting rural tourism, and encouraging small-scale and cottage industries. He proposed establishing solar plants, fruit-vegetable markets, and milk collection centers in villages. He also stressed strengthening rural infrastructure, promoting women’s self-employment, and skill development for youth to curb urban migration. The CM also instructed officials to improve farmers’ incomes and boost crop productivity by adopting a cooperative-based economy and sustainably using natural resources.
Inclusive Systems and Focus on Health, Nutrition, and Safety
Shri Sharma called for the creation of inclusive systems that ensure every eligible citizen benefits from social schemes. He stressed equal educational opportunities, skill-based learning, career counseling, and stress-free schooling. On the health front, he directed that quality medical services reach remote areas and that citizens be encouraged toward healthy lifestyles. Awareness of lifestyle diseases like diabetes and hypertension should be integrated into school curricula. He also pushed for speedy digitization of health records via Ayushman Bharat Health ID and prioritized maternal and child nutrition.
To reduce accidents, CM Sharma suggested controlling vehicle speeds and enforcing traffic laws strictly. He supported adopting multi-story housing in urban areas and improving pollution-free public transport. He also ordered roadside plantations along highways for environmental conservation.
Water Conservation as a Priority
Under the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign (June 5–20), CM Sharma detailed ongoing work such as building rainwater harvesting structures, renovating reservoirs, repairing dams and canals, and enhancing ecological sustainability. Over 40,000 water conservation structures are being built under the “Karmabhoomi se Matribhumi” initiative. He also called for the development of desert plants and preventing water misuse.
