Minister Abdul Sattar to Address Water Project Initiatives in Sillod and Soygaon with Dedicated Meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Mumbai : A separate meeting will soon be held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar regarding actions related to check dams and percolation tanks in Sillod taluka, as well as matters under the Godavari Marathwada Development Corporation, stated Abdul Sattar, Minister of Minority Development and Aukaf, and Marketing.
A meeting regarding water projects in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district was held at the ministry in the presence of Minister Sattar. Present at the meeting were Chief Engineer of the Water Resources Department Vijay Ghogare, Superintendent Engineer Bharat Shingade, and Executive Engineer Umesh Wankhede. Executive Director of the Godavari Marathwada Development Corporation Santosh Tirmarwar participated via video conferencing.
Various topics were discussed during the meeting. The minister mentioned that follow-up would be conducted with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to complete these projects. Information on the check dams and percolation tanks, as well as the dams from the Nizam era in Soygaon and Sillod talukas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, was reviewed. Minister Sattar gave instructions regarding measures to ensure water availability in the Sillod city’s water supply tank throughout the year and to complete various designated works under the Godavari Marathwada Development Corporation.
