Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan – A Meaningful Initiative for Service and Empowerment to the Last Person

From June 15 to June 30, 2025, the Bemetara district is organizing nationwide awareness and benefit saturation camps under the Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan. This campaign, initiated by the Government of India, focuses especially on tribal-dominated regions to ensure full saturation of government welfare schemes and generate public awareness. Its primary objective is to deliver individual entitlements and benefits of all government schemes to the most marginalized citizens without any obstacles.

In Bemetara district, four tribal-majority villages—Jhalam (Janpad Bemetara), Budera and Korvay (Janpad Saja), and Boikachar (Janpad Nawagarh)—have been identified under this campaign. In these villages, two-day camps are being organized at gram panchayat or government buildings.

A camp was successfully held in Jhalam village on June 16–17, where a comprehensive range of public services was made available at one location under the Tribal Village Utkarshta Abhiyan. A total of 27 Ayushman Bharat health cards were issued, providing a pathway to free healthcare for villagers. In addition, 65 Aadhaar cards (new and updated) were processed. Applications were also received for 12 ration cards, 18 labour cards, 5 caste certificates, and 6 residence certificates.

Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner for Tribal Development, Mr. Abhishek Jaiswal, departmental officers ensured prompt service delivery through on-site document verification. Awareness rallies held during the camp helped increase public engagement with the schemes.

Upcoming camps are scheduled in Budera (June 19–20), Boikachar (June 23–24), and Korvay (June 26–27). These camps will offer services such as Aadhaar and ration cards, Ayushman cards, sickle cell screening, Kisan Credit Cards, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala Yojana, pension schemes, women and child development programs (like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana), backyard farming, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Awas Yojana, construction of individual toilets, electricity connections, skill development, and MUDRA loans.

Collector Ranbir Sharma emphasized that this campaign ensures government schemes move beyond paperwork and effectively reach those in need. The Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan reflects not only the administration’s commitment but also a strong and visionary step toward empowerment, participation, and inclusive development in tribal regions.

This initiative stands as a remarkable step in realizing the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.”
