The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has expressed deep concern over the ongoing conflict in Israel and the Gaza region, and has emphasized that Tamils residing in those regions must remain safe and protected. He has also directed the Tamil Welfare and Overseas Tamils Department to remain in close contact with Tamils there and extend all possible immediate assistance and diplomatic support.
In this context, several individuals have returned to India from Israel via official channels. The Government of Tamil Nadu has identified those who belong to the state and is coordinating their safe return.
Furthermore, the situation is being closely monitored, and the Tamil Nadu government is fully prepared to provide any necessary assistance to the Tamils affected.
