Jaipur – Union Minister for Environment and Forests Shri Bhupender Yadav and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa jointly inaugurated a free medical consultation camp in Ramgarh on Sunday. The camp provided free health check-ups, consultations, and medications from renowned doctors to the public. Both leaders appreciated the medical professionals for their service to the community.

Shri Yadav emphasized that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India by 2047 includes a healthy and progressive nation. The government, he said, is consistently working to strengthen healthcare infrastructure. Ramgarh is also witnessing an expansion in medical facilities to ensure health services reach even remote areas.

He further highlighted the “TB-Mukt Bharat” (TB-Free India) initiative under the MP Contact Programme, encouraging every gram panchayat to take a pledge towards TB elimination. The government is providing free medication and ₹1,000 cash support to TB patients and disburses all benefits directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). He also noted that under the PM Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, various welfare camps are helping tribal populations and the rural poor.

Earlier, Shri Yadav visited the Agricultural Research Centre in Naugaon, directing officials to focus on innovations in farming, dairy development, mechanization, and entrepreneurship to ensure higher farmer income, climate resilience, and market access.

Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa thanked the team of doctors, calling their efforts a symbol of compassion and humanity. He said the camp represents society’s collective empathy and the importance of health as the most valuable asset. Medical science, he noted, has advanced tremendously, enabling the treatment of many diseases through modern techniques.

Dr. Bairwa praised PM Modi for promoting Yoga internationally, turning it into a global identity. On International Yoga Day (June 21), Rajasthan set a record with 1.27 crore participants practicing yoga across the state under CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership.

He urged youth to become health-conscious, avoid intoxicants, maintain a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and go for routine health checkups. Before the event, the Deputy CM also offered prayers at the Shri Narsingh Maharaj Temple, praying for the peace and prosperity of all residents of the state.
