Walked Through Rain and Mud to Meet Affected Tribal Families From Khivni Assured Financial Aid and Access to Welfare Schemes

Tribal Welfare Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah visited tribal families in Dewas district, affected by the anti-encroachment drive in the Khivni Wildlife Sanctuary, walking on foot through rain and muddy terrain to reach them. Sitting among the families, he listened to their concerns, shared their pain, and assured them of full support from the government.

Minister Dr. Shah conveyed, “Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has sent me here to personally check on your well-being and to ensure you receive the necessary assistance. The government stands with you. You will receive the full benefits of all public welfare schemes.” He further informed that financial aid cheques are being provided to help the families rebuild their homes.

Additional Ration and Financial Relief for Affected Families

Following the directions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, every tribal family affected by the encroachment removal in Khivni has been provided 6 months of additional food supplies, ₹20,000 in financial assistance, Cooked meals are also being provided on-site.

This humanitarian support underscores the government’s commitment to stand by the tribal community in times of difficulty and ensure their dignified resettlement.
