Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade Launches ‘Mor Goth La Sunga, Har Ghar Munga’ Campaign
Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade launched the “Mor Goth La Sunga, Har Ghar Munga” campaign from her residence in Nawa Raipur.
As part of the campaign, Minister Rajwade flagged off the promotional vehicle and ceremonially planted a moringa (drumstick) sapling, officially marking the beginning of the initiative. She stated that moringa is not only a nutritious vegetable but also plays a vital role in improving the nutritional levels of children and mothers.
Urging the public to turn this initiative into a mass movement, Minister Rajwade said, “By planting a moringa tree in every household, we can fight malnutrition effectively.”
The campaign is a joint initiative by the Women and Child Development Department and the Raipur District Administration to promote both nutrition and greenery.
Senior officials and staff of the Women and Child Development Department, along with personnel from the Minister’s residence office, were present on the occasion.
