Tumnaar Hospital in Bijapur District Receives NQAS Certification

Ayushman Arogya Mandir Tumnaar Scores 96.4% in National Quality Assurance Standards

Raipur : Ayushman Arogya Mandir located in Tumnaar block of Bijapur district has achieved a historic milestone by securing 96.4% in the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the hospital’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services in a remote region and strengthens the mission of Ayushman Bharat to provide comprehensive primary healthcare to all.

The NQAS evaluation, conducted by national-level experts, involved a rigorous assessment of the health centre’s service delivery, infrastructure, record management, sanitation, and patient care quality. Tumnaar’s Ayushman Arogya Mandir performed exceptionally in various domains, including preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative, and therapeutic care. As a result, the hospital has emerged as a model health facility in the region.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed pride over this achievement, stating that receiving the NQAS certificate is a moment of honor for Bijapur district. He credited the success to the dedication and collaborative efforts of healthcare workers. The minister emphasized that the government’s goal is to ensure high-quality healthcare access for every citizen, and this achievement marks a significant step in that direction.

The Tumnaar centre has expanded its services to include areas such as non-communicable diseases, mental health, ophthalmology, elderly care, and emergency services—facilities that were previously only available at the district level. It now stands at the forefront of providing comprehensive healthcare services under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, setting an inspiring benchmark for other health centres across the state.
