Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Honours ‘Water Woman’ Shipra Pathak
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today honoured Shipra Pathak, widely known as the “Water Woman,” for her remarkable contribution to environmental conservation. The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office, where Pathak paid a courtesy visit.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai praised Shipra Pathak’s dedicated efforts in promoting environmental awareness, particularly her leadership in the mass plantation of Sindoor (vermilion) trees. He lauded her commitment to spreading this initiative among the public and presented her with a shawl and a memento as a mark of appreciation.
Shipra Pathak has earned wide recognition for her relentless commitment to protecting the environment and for raising public awareness about sustainability. Under her leadership, large-scale plantation drives have not only boosted environmental conservation but also inspired citizens to take personal responsibility in protecting nature by planting trees and engaging in green initiatives.
Also present at the event was Professor Harishankar Singh from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow.
Chief Minister Sai noted that Shipra Pathak’s contributions serve as an inspiration to society. He further assured that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working towards environmental protection and will extend full support to such initiatives.
