Accelerate Water Supply Projects in Katol, Narkhed, and Mowad: CM Devendra Fadnavis Directs
Mumbai : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed officials to urgently complete the ongoing water supply projects in the towns of Katol, Narkhed, and Mowad to ensure regular water availability for residents.
Speaking at a review meeting held at the state legislature regarding the water supply schemes of these three municipal councils, CM Fadnavis emphasized the need to resolve the long-standing water scarcity in these areas. The meeting was attended by MLAs Charansingh Thakur and Ashish Deshmukh, along with Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department Deepak Kapoor, Principal Secretaries Govindraj, Abhishek Krishna, E. Ravindran, and Secretary Ashwini Bhide.
CM Fadnavis stated that addressing the water shortage in Katol, Narkhed, and Mowad is a top priority. He instructed officials to fast-track infrastructure development under the relevant water supply projects to ensure citizens receive a daily and consistent supply of water. He also stressed the importance of removing any obstacles that might delay progress and called for the effective use of funds available under the Nagarothan (Urban Renewal) Scheme.
