Guru Vandan and Guru Samman Ceremony Held on the Occasion of Guru Purnima

Public Representatives and Officials Honored Saints, Religious Leaders, and Mahants; Gurus Thanked Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur : In accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, a Guru Vandan and Guru Samman ceremony was organized on Thursday to mark the occasion of Guru Purnima in Jaipur district. A total of 45 religious leaders, mahants, and saints were honored by elected representatives and government officials.

As part of the event, greetings from the Chief Minister, a monetary gift of ₹2,100, a shawl, coconut (shrifal), garland, and sweets were presented to each of the religious leaders in a gesture of deep respect and recognition.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari honored Mahant Shri Ramdas/Ramsevak Das Ji Maharaj of Papadwale Hanuman Mandir in Vidyadhar Nagar; Maharaj Shri Harishankar Vedanti of Siyaram Das Ji’s Bageechi in Dahar Ka Balaji, Ambabadi, Jaipur; and Maharaj Shri Kaushalya Das Ji of Kaushalya Das Ji’s Bageechi in Bani Park, Jaipur.

Cabinet Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, in charge of industries, information technology, youth affairs, and skill development, honored Mahant Somaniji of Jharkhand Mahadev Mandir.

Other honors included:

  • Mahant Shri Ramrichhpal Das, Triveni Dham, Shahpura, Jaipur, honored by Minister of Urban Development Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra.
  • Mahant Shri Govardhan Das Ji, Dadu Palka, Bhairanadham, Bhairana, Dudu, Jaipur, honored by Minister Shri Madan Dilawar, School Education, Panchayati Raj, and Sanskrit Education Departments.
  • Mahant Shri Kailash Chand Sharma, Shri Ganesh Ji Maharaj Mandir, Moti Dungri, Jaipur, and Swami Shri Ramratandevacharya Ji Maharaj, Shri Narsingh Ji Mandir, Shri Narayan Dham Ashram, Gopalbari (near railway station), honored by MLA Gopal Sharma (Civil Lines).
  • Mahant Shri Avadheshanand Ji, Siddheshwar Hanuman Mandir, Nandpuri, Bais Godam, Jaipur, also honored by MLA Gopal Sharma.
  • Mahant Shri Jagmohan Das Ji, Hanuman Ashram Mandir, Roda Nadi, Jamwa Ramgarh, and Mahant Shri Balram Das Ji Maharaj, Shri Balaji Thali Mandir, Jamwa Ramgarh, honored by MLA Mahendra Pal Meena (Jamwa Ramgarh).

Each recipient received a greeting message, ₹2,100 cash gift, shawl, coconut, garland, and sweets as part of the state government’s formal tribute.

Upon receiving this honor on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, saints, mahants, and religious leaders expressed their gratitude and joy, warmly welcoming the initiative of the Rajasthan Government and thanking Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma for the recognition of their spiritual and social contributions.
