CM Dhami Interacts with Citizens Regarding Public Grievances

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held discussions with citizens who had sent letters to the Chief Minister’s Office highlighting their problems and directed officials to take appropriate action on each matter.

Karmchand, a resident of Shergarh in Doiwala Tehsil, had complained that the irrigation canal supplying water to his field had broken, leading to a crisis in irrigation. After listening to the full issue, the Chief Minister instructed the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Department to take necessary action.

Similarly, Major Naresh Kumar Saklani reported that private individuals had encroached upon his land and constructed a minor irrigation canal. On this complaint, CM Dhami directed the District Magistrate of Dehradun to take immediate action.

Another complainant, Dhirendra Shukla, a resident of Canal Road, lodged a complaint against a builder for harassment. The Chief Minister instructed the MDDA (Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority) to investigate the matter.

In response to a road-related complaint by Vishan Dutt Sharma, a resident of Dinkar Vihar in Vikasnagar, the CM directed the Secretary of the Public Works Department to take appropriate measures.

The Chief Minister stated, “Letters from the public are not just pieces of paper; they are reflections of hope and trust. After reading some such grievance letters today, I personally spoke to the complainants and instructed the concerned officials to act on them immediately. Resolving people’s issues is the hallmark of our government’s working style.”
