“Chief Minister – My Beloved Sister Scheme” registers over two lakh beneficiaries in the district – Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil

Jalgaon (Jimaka): Jalgaon district has always been at the forefront of implementing various schemes, and now, the ‘Chief Minister – My Beloved Sister Scheme’ has empowered women significantly in the district, with over two million registrations to date. To further the success of this current scheme, we aim to extend its reach to every taluka, targeting approximately six to seven lakh eligible sisters to receive festive celebrations on Raksha Bandhan. This ambitious initiative aims to propel the district forward. These directives were issued by Deputy Chief Minister Gulabrao Patil. Additionally, for the registration under this scheme, assistance in planning at the ward level has been provided by Minister of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Anil Patil.

District Collector Ayush Prasad initiated the implementation of this scheme at the beginning of the meeting, providing detailed information about it. Ankit, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, also briefed about the planning done for this scheme at the taluka level. The inauguration of the ‘Chief Minister – My Beloved Sister Scheme’ took place today in the District Council Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Smita Vagh, MLA Suresh Bhole, MLA Kishor Patil, MLA Chandrakant Patil, District Collector Ayush Prasad, Chief Executive Officer of the District Council Ankit, District Police Chief Dr. Maheshwar Reddy, Municipal Commissioner Gyaneshwar Dhere, and other senior officials from district and taluka levels were present.

The effective implementation of the ‘Chief Minister – My Beloved Sister Scheme’ in the district requires crucial roles from Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, Municipal Chief Officers, and Child Development Project Officers, who will coordinate to ensure its success. There is a need to focus more on administration in rural areas compared to urban areas due to the availability of administrative resources. Rather than encouraging online form submissions, emphasis has been placed on filling out offline forms first, followed by converting them to online formats, as instructed by Deputy Chief Minister Gulabrao Patil. Starting from the next eight weeks, efforts will be made to conduct meetings at the sub-district level to outline plans for each taluka, as announced by the Deputy Chief Minister.

Formation of Committees at Taluka Level

To effectively implement this scheme, committees will be established at the taluka level, which will promptly commence their work to ensure swift progress, as mentioned by Deputy Chief Minister Gulabrao Patil. Deputy Chief Minister Gulabrao Patil communicated this directive along with MLA Smita Vagh, MLA Suresh Bhole, MLA Kishor Patil, and MLA Chandrakant Patil. They also expressed their commitment to ensuring the success of this initiative in their respective talukas.
