Plans for 3-GW Solar Cell Unit in Narmadapuram Discussed Over 700 Jobs Expected
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Shri Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of Grew Energy Private Limited, along with other company representatives, on the second day of his Dubai visit. The meeting focused on the industrial support being extended by the Madhya Pradesh government for a proposed 3-gigawatt solar cell project in the Narmadapuram district. This ambitious project is expected to significantly strengthen the state’s presence in the renewable energy sector and generate employment opportunities for more than 700 individuals.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting green energy initiatives and providing a favourable environment for industrial growth. He emphasised that the project would not only contribute to achieving the state’s environmental goals but also accelerate local economic development. The meeting also highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a hub for sustainable energy innovation.
