Groundbreaking Ceremony for Transformer Installation Completed at Khadak Malegaon, Maralgoi.
Nashik : The use of electricity has increased in villages. The problem of frequent power outages will be reduced with the installation of additional transformers, ensuring continuous power supply to farmers and customers even during the day, stated State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, Chhagan Bhujbal. He was speaking today at the groundbreaking ceremony for the installation of additional transformers at the power substation in Khadak Malegaon in Niphad taluka and Maralgoi in Yeola taluka.
During this event, Executive Engineer K.V. Kalumali, Chairman of Lasalgaon Market Committee Balasaheb Kshirsagar, Vasant Pawar, Taluka President Bhausaheb Bhavar, Working President Dnyaneshwar Shewale, former Zilla Parishad member Dnyaneshwar Jagtap, Dattatraya Raite, Dr. Shrikant Aware, Shekhar Holkar, Mangesh Gawli, Dattatraya Dukre, Sarpanch Jagdish Pawar, Ashok Nagare, Uttam Nagare, Tanaiji Andhale, Tukaram Gangurde, Balasaheb Raite, Rahul Dumbare, Nivrutti Raite, Baban Shinde, Police Patil Vaishali Nazare, all members of Khadak Malegaon Gram Panchayat, and officials of the society were present.
Minister Chhagan Bhujbal performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the installation of a 5 MVA additional transformer at the power substation in Niphad taluka (Rs. 150 lakh) and a 5 MVA additional transformer at the 33/11 power substation in Maralgoi, Yeola taluka (Rs. 150 lakh).
Minister Bhujbal said that electricity and water are basic necessities. The benefit of the additional transformers will be extended to the villages of Sarola, Vanasgaon, Brahmangaon, Khangavonajik, Pachora Khurd, Pachora Bu., Maralgoi Khurd, Mahalgoi Bu., Gondgaon, and Shivapur. He directed the officials to complete these proposed works by December 2024. The government has now implemented a free electricity scheme for farmers. Similarly, the scheme for solar pumps on demand has been started, and every farmer should take advantage of it, urged Minister Chhagan Bhujbal to the villagers.
Minister Bhujbal further stated that under the concept of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister’s ‘Mazi Ladki Bhagin’ scheme will benefit two women from each family. Applications for this scheme can be filled out until August 31, and the sisters applying in August will also receive Rs. 1,500 for the months of July and August, totaling Rs. 3,000 in their accounts. Minister Chhagan Bhujbal instructed the administration to provide full support to mothers and sisters in filling out these applications.
Under the Skill Development Scheme, students and youths will receive a stipend of up to Rs. 10,000 per month. Education will be free for girls in the future, and through the ‘Mazi Kanya Bhagyashree’ scheme, Rs. 1,05,000 will be deposited into their account by the government until they turn 18. The government has implemented the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme for senior citizens, and a government resolution has been issued for this, allowing seniors to visit the pilgrimage sites mentioned in the resolution, said Minister Chhagan Bhujbal.
