Manendragarh Receives Development Projects Worth Rs 25.99 Crore

Key Urban Infrastructure Projects Approved under CM Urban Upliftment Scheme

Raipur – Urban development in the Manendragarh region has received a major boost with the sanction of projects worth Rs 25.99 crore. These development works have been approved under the Chief Minister Urban Upliftment Scheme, Infrastructure Fund, and Central Lighting Fund from the state budget.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal extended his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao for approving development projects worth over Rs 25.99 crore for the Chirmiri municipal region.

The Health Minister noted that the sanctioned projects would fast-track the construction of key infrastructure such as Gaurav Path roads, bypass roads, lighting systems, and a central library. These initiatives are expected to significantly accelerate the holistic development of Chirmiri.

The Urban Administration and Development Department has granted this approval, covering a range of significant works for the Chirmiri Municipal Council area. According to information received:

• Rs 2 crore has been approved for the construction of Gaurav Path road from Godri Para to Doman Hill.
• Rs 2.40 crore for CC road and drain construction from Ward No. 8 Big Ground to Siddhbaba Temple.
• Rs 20 lakh for improved street lighting.
• Rs 2 crore for constructing a retaining wall and footpath from the cultural stage in the village panchayat to Atmanand School main road and Chitrojhor Pauri.
• Rs 8.75 crore for a bypass road from Sonmali Naka to Deendayal Chowk via Korea.
• Rs 6.22 crore for various additional works.
• Rs 4.41 crore for a Central Lighting cum Reading Zone (250 seaters).

In total, development projects amounting to Rs 25.99 crore have been sanctioned for the Chirmiri Municipal region. These initiatives will enhance the area’s basic infrastructure and provide much-needed facilities to the public.

Thanks to the sustained efforts of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, this significant approval has been secured for the Manendragarh constituency. Local residents have expressed their appreciation to the government and their elected representatives.
