Minister-in-Charge Sanjay Sharma Launches Tree Plantation Drive at Smriti Van, Appeals to Public to Plant More Trees

Jaipur : On the occasion of Hariyali Amavasya, Forest and Environment Minister and Sikar District In-Charge Minister Shri Sanjay Sharma inaugurated the “Hariyalo Rajasthan – Chief Minister’s Mass Plantation Campaign” by planting saplings of medicinal and native species like Harsingar and Gulsari at Smriti Van in Sikar on Thursday.

On this occasion, Minister Sharma urged the public to come forward in support of environmental conservation by planting as many trees as possible and playing their part in making Rajasthan greener. He emphasized that trees are not only essential for maintaining ecological balance, but also vital for ensuring clean air, water, and a healthy climate for future generations.

The event was attended by District Soldiers’ Welfare Advisory Committee Chairman Prem Singh Bajor, Sikar MLA Rajendra Pareek, Dhod MLA Govardhan Verma, former MP Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, District Collector Mukul Sharma, along with other public representatives and prominent citizens.
