Delegation Meets Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to Discuss Preparations for Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra 2026
A delegation led by Dr. Rakesh Kunwar, Chairman of the Nanda Devi Rajjat Committee, met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence.
During the meeting, discussions were held on various aspects related to the preparations and effective management of the Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra scheduled to be held in 2026. Chief Minister Dhami stated that senior officials have already been directed at the government level to ensure the smooth and grand conduct of the Yatra.
He instructed the officials to prepare a comprehensive and effective action plan and complete all preparations by the end of 2025. The Chief Minister emphasized that the Yatra symbolizes Uttarakhand’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. He also directed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure the Yatra’s dignified organization.
Further, efforts will be made to involve as many local folk artists, village panchayats, and voluntary organizations as possible in the Yatra.
