Under CM Vishnu Deo Sai’s Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, 850 Devotees Depart for Ayodhya Dham from Sarguja

Raipur : As part of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s ambitious Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, a group of 850 devotees from the Sarguja division embarked on their sacred journey to Ayodhya Dham on Wednesday. This marks the seventh batch of pilgrims under the scheme.

The special train was flagged off at 2 PM from Ambikapur Railway Station by Ambikapur MLA Rajesh Agrawal, who extended his best wishes for a safe and spiritually fulfilling journey. Present on the occasion were Zila Panchayat Chairperson Nirupa Singh, Mayor Manjusha Bhagat, Municipal Speaker Harminder Singh Tinni, senior district officials, and other public representatives.

There was visible excitement among the pilgrims, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for providing such excellent arrangements and free travel facilities for the journey. According to VK Uike, Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, the group includes 170 devotees from Sarguja, 204 from Jashpur, 164 from Balrampur-Ramanujganj, 147 from Surajpur, 108 from Korea, and 57 from Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

The Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana offers comprehensive, free-of-cost travel services to Ayodhya, including train travel, meals, accommodation, and other essential amenities. It is a public welfare initiative launched by CM Sai, aimed at enabling every citizen of Chhattisgarh to visit Ayodhya and seek the blessings of Lord Ram Lalla at least once in their lifetime.

Thousands have already benefitted from the scheme, and the pilgrimage continues with great enthusiasm across the state.
