Parliamentary Affairs Minister Inspects Under-Construction Building of Government College Jhanwar — Timely Implementation of Budget Announcements Ensured
Jaipur, Aug 25: Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Affairs Minister Mr. Jogaram Patel inspected the under-construction building of the Government College in Jhanwar, Jodhpur district, on Friday and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
Opening Doors of Higher Education for Girls in Remote Areas
The Minister stated that the visionary Chief Minister Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma has given historic gifts to the people of Rajasthan through the state budget, and their timely implementation on the ground is being ensured. He emphasized that the establishment of colleges in remote areas will open new avenues of higher education, especially for the daughters of the state.
Mr. Patel mentioned that the college in Jhanwar was announced in the previous budget and has already started functioning from the last academic session. The construction of its permanent building is currently underway with an estimated cost of ₹4.5 crore. He further informed that this year’s budget has also sanctioned a new college in Keru.
Ensure Completion of Work with High Quality Within the Stipulated Timeframe
Mr. Patel directed Mr. Rajesh Vyas, Assistant Engineer of Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (RUDSICO), to ensure the construction work is completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining superior quality. He also instructed for effective and regular monitoring of the project’s progress.
