Water Resources Minister Reviews Pushkar College Facilities, Promotes Green Campus Initiative

Ajmer Aug 2025 : Rajasthan’s Water Resources Minister and Pushkar MLA, Shri Suresh Singh Rawat, inspected the Government College in Pushkar on Saturday, reviewing ongoing activities and campus facilities. He inspected the recently completed works, boundary wall behind the college, installation of interlocking tiles, road construction, status of computers, and tube well facilities.

After the inspection, Minister Rawat conducted a tree plantation drive within the college premises, delivering a strong message on environmental conservation. He urged active participation from everyone in realizing the vision of a “Green Pushkar.”

Shri Rawat announced that a new badminton court would soon be constructed with an allocated budget of ₹7.50 lakh and instructed officials to expedite the project. While visiting the college library, he reviewed the available resources, number of books, student usage, e-library facilities, and provisions for competitive exam preparations. He assured the college administration of full support in enhancing infrastructure and academic resources.

Shri Rawat emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring quality education, robust infrastructure, and a green environment in the Pushkar constituency, and continuous positive efforts are being made in this direction.
