CM Dr. Mohan Yadav to Honour Athletes on August 5

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will grace the Madhya Pradesh ‘Shikhar Khel Alankaran’ ceremony and the felicitation of medal-winning athletes of the 38th National Games 2025, to be held on Tuesday, August 5 as the chief guest. The event will commence at 5 PM at Ravindra Bhavan. Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare Shri Vishvas Kailash Sarang will preside over the ceremony. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manu Shrivastava and Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Shri Rakesh Gupta will also be present.Ekalavya Awards for 11 Athletes.

11 Athletes to be honoured with the Ekalavya Award

The athletes to be honoured with the Ekalavya Award includes Rituraj Bundela (Shooting), Bhumi Baghel (Kayaking-Canoeing – Slalom), Krishna Mishra (Squash), Pooja Dangi (Fencing), Prabhakar Singh Rajawat (Rowing), Neha Thakur (Sailing), Prakhar Joshi (Swimming), Arjun Vaskale (Athletics), Priyanshi Prajapat (Wrestling), Ankit Pal (Hockey) and Gaurav Pachauri (Powerlifting).

Vikram Awards for 12 Athletes

The Vikram Award will be conferred upon to Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar (Shooting), Janhvi Srivastava (Kayaking-Canoeing – Slalom), Ragini Marko (Archery), Shivani Pawar (Wrestling), Shruti Yadav (Boxing), Yamini Maurya (Judo), Sachin Bhargo (Kho-Kho), Neelu Dadia (Hockey), Praveen Kumar Dave (Softball), Rubina Francis (Shooting – Para category), Apoorva Dubey (Powerlifting) and Bhavana Dehariya (Adventure Sports).

Vishwamitra and Lifetime Achievement Awards

Vishwamitra Awards will be presented to Shri Pijush Kanti Baroi (Kayaking-Canoeing Coach), Shri Ashok Kumar Yadav (Archery Coach) and Shri Lokendra Sharma (Hockey Coach). The Lifetime Achievement Award will be conferred on Shri Ratanlal Verma for his contribution to Gymnastics. Additionally, 82 medal winners of the 38th National Games 2025—comprising 34 Gold, 25 Silver, and 23 Bronze medalists—will also be honoured during the ceremony.
